The 2014 Season Is Getting Underway

The Craft Basket will open for the 2014 season on
Saturday, November 1st
and will be open
Fridays & Saturdays 9am – 5pm
Sundays 1 – 5pm until Christmas.

If you live, work, or travel in
North Central Kansas stop on by
and check out all the beautiful handcrafted
holiday décor and gift items.

They make wonderful additions to your family’s celebrations!

 The Craft Basket is a cooperative craft shop that operates  in the Alton Community Room
during the months of
November and December.
It was started in the 1980’s to
provide a selling place for
local crafters.

Remember if you want to sign up to participate this year it’s not too late. See our Facebook page for information on who to contact; or send a message directly from The Craft Basket’s FB page.

We are still looking for people interested in participating this year- Do you sew, cross stitch, crochet, knit or bake. Are you skilled in stain glass, pottery, woodworking, making jewelry, painting, candy making or flower arranging. Are you talented in re-purposing things into unique or unusually items? If so we are looking for you! Each member pays a $20 membership fee and works 2 four hour shifts. All of the items offered for sale must be handmade by the person selling. No commission is charged- each member receives 100% of everything they sell. 

For those members that missed the planning meeting- please let one of the executive board members know if you are planning on participating this year. We will be checking in crafts and setting up the store on Sunday, October 26th 2 to 4 pm and Monday,October 27th 5 to 7 pm.
